License Testing
The next ARRL VE test session for all classes of Amateur Radio license will be held Saturday, April 20th starting at 1000 hrs. in the Sheriff’s Training Room at 18100 Cumberland Road in Noblesville. For more information or to register contact KJ9M@arrl.net.
Carmel Marathon
This annual event will be held Saturday, April 13 from 0630 to 1530 hrs. with amateur radio support on these repeaters. All positions are filled but for more information contact Dallas, N9DAM.
Hamfest

April Meetings
Because of the April 8 full-eclipse and significant amateur radio support, The HCEM Communications Group will not hold its regular meeting in April. CIARA will also not meet in April.
Eclipse
On Monday, April 8, the 145.17 Noblesville repeater will be open to normal amateur radio traffic. However, both UHF repeaters in Noblesville and Hortonville will hold active eclipse operations nets for the full duration of the eclipse and longer as outgoing vehicular traffic exits the county.
Upcoming Nets
- The Piglet’s Makers net will meet on 443.95 MHZ Monday night at 21:00.
- John, W9KD announced that the Hortonville Who Knows What Net which normally meets on 443.95MHZ Thursdays at 20:00 will not meet this Thursday due to eclipse ops.
