Soldering workshop is planned for field day in June.
Are you interested in learning how to solder? Or would you like to learn about and build a $25 automatic antenna tuner? If so, sign up for a soldering workshop at this year’s Summer Field Day! CIARA’s very own Brandon Parks will teach us the basics of soldering and help us build our own copies of the ATU-100 tuner that he used at his Winter Field Day station. The club is coordinating a group buy of the kits to minimize the cost. If you would like to be part of the group buy, please contact Seth Wanlass at Seth@wanlass.org.
