One of our own CIARA members has been chosen by the ARRL to hold the seat of Emergency Coordinator (EC). The ARRL is a key team player in ARES on the local scene. Working with local community officials, the Section Emergency Cordinator (SEC) and other field appointees the EC leads their local ARES group through planning, preparedness and response phrases.
Qualifications include TECH class or higher, full ARRL membership and an achievement of Level Three qualifications. See the ARRL website for full details.
