License Testing
The Central Indiana Amatuer Radio Association in cooperation with Hamilton County RACES and Hamiltion County EMA provides license testing for all classes at least four times a year. All testing is done on Saturday at 10:30 am at the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office located at 18100 Cumberland Road, Noblesville, IN. The ARRL VE testing fee is $15.00 (please pay in cash with exact change).

To obtain your license you need to:
- Study for the test by using free resources like www.hamstudy.org
- Request an FRN from the FCC at https://apps.fcc.gov/cores
- Take the test
